All prices shown include VAT where applicable. Products priced per kilogram are marked “per kg”; products priced per piece or per pack are marked “each”.
Weight tolerance
Meat is cut by hand and cannot be cut to an exact weight. For items sold per kilogram, the weight delivered will fall within approximately 5% either side of the weight ordered. You are charged for the weight actually packed. Where the packed weight differs from the ordered weight, the difference is settled before dispatch — either refunded or requested — and your order will not ship until it is agreed. By placing an order you accept this tolerance.
Delivery and the cold chain
Orders are dispatched chilled and packed with gel packs in an insulated liner. Someone must be available to receive the delivery in person; we cannot leave meat unattended at a gate, in a postbox or with a neighbour without written instruction. If a delivery fails because nobody was available to receive it, the goods cannot be re-dispatched and the order is forfeited.
Returns
Fresh meat cannot be returned once it has left our cold chain. If there is a problem with what you received, contact us within 12 hours of delivery with photographs and your order number and we will put it right — replacement or refund. This does not affect your rights under the Consumer Protection Act.
Cancellations
Because orders are cut to order, they can be cancelled free of charge up until cutting begins — in practice, the evening before your dispatch date. After that we cannot cancel, because the meat has been cut for you specifically.
